B-to-B Ad Spending Up on Internet
Ad spending up 2.2% among top 100; Internet continues to grow as piece of the marketing pie.
According to research for a BtoB Special Report from BtoBonline.com, "The Internet saw huge [B-to-B Ad] growth in 2004." The following represents a few notable increases:
- Verizon increased its Internet spending by 752%, to $42.6 million
- Qwest boosted its Internet spending by 627%, to $16.6 million
- Monster.com increased Internet spending by 576%, to $46.4 million
8% of marketing budgets are now reserved for Internet Advertising. It's a must-have to reach all prospects, in addition to traditional advertising in business publications and magazines.
