January 29, 2010 - Florham Park PARK, NJ - BASF will increase the selling prices for Terluran® ABS and Terluran® HH® ABS by $0.07 per pound in North America, effective Feb. 15, 2010 for all shipments. Due to limited supplies, the plastics industry is experiencing significant increases in raw material costs. This increase is in addition to a previously announced price adjustment earlier this month.
Terluran ABS resins are specifically designed to provide a very broad physical property range with very good processing characteristics. The materials have exceptionally light natural color with excellent color stability and color consistency. Terluran HH is an injection molding ABS grade with high resistance to heat deformation and impact.
