A new feature has been added to the Quick Search toolbar in Prospector that is designed to make your searches even more efficient and effective. Now when you search for materials that are not directly found within our database, a list of suggestions will be provided to prevent you from getting stuck at a dead end. This feature is designed to assist you in finding products that have changed names, are discontinued, dormant, or non-plastic materials. For example, a search on the discontinued "Capron" will show you that this product line formerly produced by Honeywell is now produced by BASF under the name Ultramid®. Additionally, the new Quick Search provides contact information for each manufacturer so you can directly link to their website or contact their customer support for more information.
