This resin challenge came from a polymer scientist working for a company primarily focused on pipeline systems. He was looking for an alternative to a Samsung Starex material, available in Asia Pacific, used in pipe extrusion. This material needed to have as similar of properties as possible to the Starex SP-0180 grade, and had to be commercially active.
